About the event
The Humber Valley Golf Tournament is HCANL's annual two-day member event held in Corner Brook, NL.
The event begins with an opening reception featuring a BBQ, refreshments, and networking opportunities. The following morning starts with HCANL's West Coast Meeting, followed by a noon shotgun start at Humber Valley Resort.
After the tournament, participants will gather for a steak supper, awards presentation, and charity auction. Proceeds from the auction support the Western Regional Hospital Foundation.
Registration for the 2026 Humber Valley Golf Tournament will open on July 9 at 1:00 p.m. (NL time) through the HCANL website.
Additional tournament information, including sponsorship opportunities and pricing, will be posted prior to registration opening.
PLEASE NOTE
All registrations and sponsorship registrations must be completed through the HCANL website.
The HCANL office cannot accept registrations, sponsorship requests, or reservation holds by phone or email.
This process helps ensure registrations and sponsorships are handled fairly and consistently for all members.
Before You Register
Please note that checkout is for registration only. No payment will be collected through the website.
During checkout, you will be asked how you would like to receive your invoice (including the option to receive a secure credit card payment link).
Once your registration is submitted, you will receive a confirmation that your checkout was successful. If you receive this confirmation, your registration has been received and there is no need to contact the HCANL office unless you need to make a correction or change to your registration.
This process ensures that your golf registration and any sponsorship selections are reserved together at the time of registration, eliminating the risk of securing one without the other and avoiding the need for refunds or adjustments.

Golf registration is $350 per player and includes:

Registration & Changes
When does registration open?
Registration opens July 9 through the HCANL website.
Spots are limited and are expected to sell out quickly.
Can I reserve a team before registration opens?
No. Team registrations cannot be held or reserved before registration opens.
Can I book multiple teams?
Each member company can book a maximum of two (2) teams
Can I book a sponsorship by email or phone?
No. All sponsorship purchases must be completed through the HCANL website.
How do I complete my player registration?
After completing your online registration, you must complete the Golfer Registration Form by August 24.
This form collects:

Other event details
Please ensure there is an entry for every golfer included in your registration.
Can I still register or add a player?
Additional players may be added until August 24, subject to availability.
Late additions cannot be guaranteed.
Is there a waitlist?
If the tournament sells out, you may join the waitlist by completing the Waitlist Registration Form available on our website.
Available spots will be offered as cancellations occur on a first-come, first-served basis.
Can I substitute a player?
Player substitutions must be submitted by September 11.
After this date, changes cannot be guaranteed due to finalized team lists and event preparation.
Can I cancel or receive a refund?
Refund requests must be received by September 4.
After this date, registrations are non-refundable.
Approved refunds will be issued less any applicable processing fees (such as credit card processing fees).
To request a cancellation or refund, please email the HCANL office with "Cancellation Request" in the subject line.

What time does the tournament begin?

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the tournament begins.
Where do I check in?
Please report to the Clubhouse upon arrival.
Team assignments and cart information will be available at registration.

Team assignments will be posted at registration.
Can I request a specific team or grouping?
Yes.
Team requests must be submitted by September 11.
While every effort will be made to accommodate requests, they cannot be guaranteed.
Sponsors
What time can sponsors set up?
Sponsor setup begins at 11:00 AM.
If additional setup time is required, please contact Gary or Heather Oake at Humber Valley Golf Resort in advance.
Where will my sponsorship be located?
Sponsor locations will be assigned during the week leading up to the tournament.
If you have a preferred location, please contact Gary or Heather Oake at Humber Valley Golf Resort before the event.
Weather
What happens if it rains?
The tournament will proceed rain or shine unless otherwise communicated by HCANL.
In the event of severe weather or unforeseen circumstances, participants will be notified as soon as possible.
